Itinerary Overview:
Day 1: Addis Ababa – Arba Minch
Depart from Addis Ababa by flight or private vehicle.
Stop at Dorze village to explore their beehive-shaped huts and weaving traditions.
Overnight in Arba Minch (Hotel/Lodge).
Day 2: Arba Minch – Konso – Jinka
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Konso village.
Continue to Jinka, gateway to the Mago National Park.
Visit South Omo Research Center (time permitting).
Overnight in Jinka (Hotel/Lodge).
Day 3: Jinka – Mursi Tribe – Turmi
Early morning drive to Mago National Park.
Visit the Mursi Tribe, known for their lip plates and body scarification.
Continue to Turmi, home of the Hamar tribe.
Optional: Attend a bull-jumping ceremony (if available).
Overnight in Turmi (Lodge).
Day 4: Turmi – Karo Tribe – Turmi
Visit the Karo Tribe at Korcho village overlooking the Omo River.
Explore their elaborate body painting and river-side culture.
Return to Turmi for relaxation or visit the local market (depending on market days).
Overnight in Turmi (Lodge).
Day 5: Turmi – Arba Minch – Addis Ababa
