📅 Itinerary Overview:

Day 1: Arbaminch – Dorze Village – Konso

  • Visit the highland Dorze people, known for their bamboo huts and weaving traditions

  • Scenic drive to Konso, a UNESCO World Heritage site

  • Explore Konso’s terraced hills and visit a local chief’s compound

  • Overnight: Konso Lodge

Day 2: Konso – Turmi (via Weito and Key Afer)

  • Drive through dramatic Omo landscapes

  • Optional stop at Key Afer Market (if it coincides with market day – Thursday)

  • Continue to Turmi, home of the Hamer tribe

  • Overnight: Turmi Lodge / Buska Lodge

Day 3: Turmi – Dassanech Tribe – Hamer Dance Experience

  • Cross the Omo River to visit the Dassanech people

  • Afternoon cultural immersion with the Hamer tribe – possible bull-jumping ceremony (seasonal)

  • Traditional dance experience (Evangadi dance)

  • Overnight: Turmi Lodge / Buska Lodge

Day 4: Turmi – Arbaminch (via Erbore or Konso)

  • On return, visit the Erbore tribe (if time allows)

  • Scenic drive back to Arbaminch, concluding the tour
